appointed provisionally and subject to His Majesty's

pleasure Mr. Arthur George Warnham Tickle, who is acting

as Director of Public Works during the absence from the

Colony of Mr. Richard McNeil Henderson, to be temporarily

an Official Member of the Executive and Legislative

Councils.
